Are Sardinian people friendly? ›

Sardinians are very welcoming people and will often go out of their way to make sure guests or tourists are well looked after, always wanting to give the best experience. Resilience is one of the biggest traits of the Sardinian people.

Both islands are exceptional and unique! It just really depends on what you're looking for – if it's great beaches, then head to North Sardinia. If you're looking for sightseeing, nature, food and a bit of swimming as well – then Sicily would be a better option!
